Rampant Sporting - A new "Gentry British" brand on the scene.. I say new, I'm just guessing that by the fact
i had not heard of it up until a month ago?
Timothy Foxx - Now, i am absolutely in love with this brand as it is making tweed cool! I absolutely love almost everything on the online store, and i loved it when i saw their pop-up shop at the South-of-English show about 2 years ago!
Chai Latte - My new obsession.. Im always hesitant towards teas, but 3 in 2 hours explains enough.
Pinterest! - Where do i start? I've recently got into this as its organised, and i am big on organisation, its fantastic to see
whats going on in the world and what trends are around also!
Jane Austen - So recently i had to read Emma for a class, and actually i've just fallen in love with Jane Austen novels. They actually are so much more tangible than you would ever assume, infact many have been transformed into films i am positive you have all watched at some point.. Clueless? Bridget Jones Diary? Yeah, i thought so.

1 2 4, - Rings all from the current Kate Spade range, i absolutely adore these and they're all
relatively affordable! *bonus*
3, 'Under the sun' bangle also from Kate Spade - This is such a lovely simple item, great for adding
to stacks! I also love the 'Under the sun' as its a constant reminder that i live in Australia!
5, Marshmallow White Haircalf from Mulberry - what a gorgeous british designed satchel style bag,
i adore cream leather bags, and this with its subtle gold touches can be dressed up or down.. - For me? UP!

Firstly i should explain why i haven't blogged for a good couple of months.. I've had assignment after assignment after assignment with barely any time left to breathe! This appears to be the first week this term that i have only one assignment due!?

So what's been going on in the world of being Quintessentially British? - The answer.. Not much! The most excitement that this girl has seen is her Grandmother sending some "Ma'amite" (Queens jubilee edition Marmite) from England which now sits proudly on my kitchen bench top!
Obviously being british then the Jubes was a big deal, but i guess now living in Sydney and just not really being in the atmosphere that is currently Britain it seemed like a little if no big deal at all, shame. I still got my Royal Mint Jubilee coin! (This i promise shall forever stay in the plastic packaging)

So although i've been working hard towards this semesters grades some might say that i've been hardly working as i have still found the time to do a lot of internet browsing and such - and a few purchases here and there.. So what have been my recents loves? Well you can check out my 'Friday Five' above!
New discoveries.. Well you can find them above my Friday Five!
Hopefully with this collage posts on whats going on then i can get back on track with this blogging thing!
Now, heres some "Ma'amite" for you.. Happy jubes!

Me being Me, i've always had a thing for over dressing. One of J.Crews classics prevents that a little.. Now i know, i know J.Crew isn't at all British, but truth be told i just enjoy this high quality brand and its clothing. Perfect Shirt in linen is comfy yet crisp, formal yet informal. - All too how you wear it, an item thats great for me! As it is starting to chill in Sydney I'm SLOWLY preparing my wardrobe to the  next season.. And the question is, shirts or no shirts? To allow over dressing disasters or not?

J.Crew Linen Perfect Shirt in Stripe.
Dogeared Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings. Where can i fault? err.. Nowhere? This jewellery has an amazing free spirit thats designs are based around subtle classics. I have one Dogeared Necklace now, and let me tell you, as it was given to me by one of my closest friends in the world of course it means a lot, but i have a little belief it may be my good luck charm. - I should also add i went through a phase of wearing pearls from Dogeared everyday, until i lost the pair and had to replace them from a high street store. It just was not the same.. So i think for just $52 at Dogeared they might have to be replaced.

From Left to Right.
1, Elephant Necklace on Amethyst.
2, Pearls with Sterling Silver.
3, Karma bracelet - Gold Dipped on Camel Leather.
Puffer Vests or Gilets, whatever you want to call them are the best. I used to wear mine (Navy Jack Wills Dudmaston) ALL the time. They go great over J. Crew tissue tees on a chilly day or over a sweatshirt on a cold day. For the ultimate lounge wear indulge in Aubin and Wills cashmere track pants, some rugby socks, and a tissue tee then layer in your Gilet.  Get one that fits snugly, but has enough room for a sweatshirt.. And good pockets are a MUST. - Bonus to the Jack Wills one? Built in headphone cable tidys and loops!
